Kamal Shah - Founder and Principal
Kamal Shah is the founder and principal of invu technology and has 15 years of experience as an engineering leader, software architect and entrepreneur. Kamal personally leads each of invu technology's engagements and strives to build great relationships with clients and ensure each project is a success.
Before starting invu, Kamal held key roles at a number of Bay Area start-up software companies including Chief Architect roles at Wakesoft and Blue Scope Technologies. In his career, Kamal has successfully combined entrepreneurship and business acumen, team leadership and deep technical expertise to deliver award-winning software products that have been sold to companies such as The Hartford Insurance Company, Hewlett Packard, Cisco Systems and Microsoft.
Outside of the software world, Kamal enjoys playing a wide variety of sports and outdoor activities and loves to travel. Kamal has a Master's in Engineering from the University of Toronto where he was also the captain and nationally ranked member of the U of T Swim Team.
John Towell - Senior Architect/Team Lead
John Towell is an innovative software architect with over 8 years experience in enterprise Java. After a successful career start with Sapient Corporation, John went on to work as lead engineer for several startup companies and has formed highly productive engineering teams.
A skilled Java developer and process engineer, John leverages agile processes and open source software to create high quality and highly scalable software. John has delivered numerous applications across many sectors with emphasis on financial services and corporate real estate.
Eric Weise - Senior Architect/Team Lead
Eric Weise is a Senior Architect and Team Lead at invu technology and has been working on delivering world-class software solutions for over 10 years.
Eric's diverse background includes architecting solutions for startups to multinational corporations in a range of industries. Eric focuses on delivering value to the customer by using agile methodologies to deliver high quality code that satisfies the customers requirements. Prior to invu technology, Eric was an architect at Wakesoft, where he designed a leading edge J2EE framework. He has also lead engineering teams at DHL, BestOffer.com, Barclays Global Investors and American Management Systems.
Dan Landy – Senior Software Engineer
Dan Landy is a Senior Software Engineer at Invu Technology; he has more than 10 years of experience in technology consulting and software development. Dan has played a key role in the Cloud Systems, KickStart, VinoList and TechniCon projects.
Prior to joining Invu, Dan was a founder and senior architect at GetActive Software, a provider of online constituent relationship management services to public interest and charitable organizations, where he contributed to the development of a scalable architecture to support high-traffic web and email services. Dan also held consulting positions at i2 Technologies and Decision Focus Inc. He has a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.B. in Mathematics from Harvard University.
Peter Dayton - Lead Designer
Peter Dayton is the Lead Designer at Invu Technology. Peter has more than 19 years of experience doing graphical design for computer applications that have run the span from video games, to enterprise applications, to leading Web 2.0 sites. As the lead designer at Invu, Peter has applied his expertise in building great user experiences to most of Invu's projects including Convoke Systems, Glitzr, LitMinds, Diddio and MessageMetrics.
Peter's career has also included key design positions at Bluescope Tehcnologies, The Learning Company, Broderbund and Mindscape. Peter has a B.A, Practice of Art, from Berkeley and still finds time to dedicate to his art and occassionally the guitar
